In the beginning...

I haven't been decorating cakes and cupcakes very long. I have nothing documented from my past, which now I somewhat regret. I distinctly remember a batch of cupcakes, decorated as dogs and cats, that came out (not to brag) awesome. But, here is a simple birthday cake I made in 2011 for my boyfriend. His birthday falls on St. Patrick's Day, hense the appropriate theme.

 The sides have shamrocks on them. Compared to what I can pipe for shamrocks now, they're quite... embarrassing, hah. But here is where my interest kind of began, and before any of my own personal equipment.






Also... my writing has improved ; )
